The connection of people with their surroundings, how they live, work and use space has always got my curiosity.
After my studies of Human Science, a ‘Master of Interior Architecture’ (University of Antwerp) was the perfect match to combine my social skills, spatial awareness and creative mind.
An extra year of Furniture Design (VOMO Thomas More Mechelen) gave me the real feeling of designing and testing on a 1/1 scale.
Since 2019 I started my own projects where I create spaces and products with a different Standaert.
From 2023 I will focus more on hospitality projects (restaurants, bars, hotels) and kitchen renovations.
